Mortgage with Benefit Income
At RockHopper, many clients who contact us are unsure if it is possible to use Benefit Income to obtain a mortgage.The general answer is both “yes” and “no” – it really depends on the individual situation.
Usually, we can assist clients who have benefit income in addition to earned income from either: a part-time job; a full-time job; or self employment.
In certain situations, we can help clients with benefit income alone, such as those who receive payments due to accident, illness or injury.
By taking benefit income into account, in addition to normal earned income, this often helps our clients obtain a larger mortgage than using their earned income
